The fruit was sourced from Clos Du Lac Vineyards in Loomis and aged in a combination of Hungarian and French oak. Cabernet Franc often gets a bad rap as being too "green" in it's flavor profile, but we've found that the sunny slopes of the Sierra Foothills take care of this problem by allowing the grapes to fully ripen before being harvested. Give Cab Franc a chance, we think you'll be pleasantly suprised! We produced 112 cases.
